Kelly Bosak, SPHR
Kelly Bosak is the Director of Employee Development and Staffing at Ferrellgas. She is responsible for the management and design of all training programs to support all Ferrellgas employees. Training programs at Ferrellgas are delivered through all mediums including stand and deliver, webinars and eLearning. The topics also range from technical skills to customer service skills and everything in between. In the community, Kelly actively raises money to support the ALS Association and enjoys playing volleyball and softball. Kelly holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management with a minor in Spanish from Kansas State University.

Meghan Freeman
Meghan is humbled to serve on the ASTD Board with so many dedicated and effective leaders. She has been in the field of training and development for over 15 years, working with several Fortune 500 companies in the Kansas City area, as well as operating her own Performance Improvement Consulting business. She has expertise in the financial, health care and real estate industries. She is grateful for the opportunities to analyze, design, develop, implement and evaluate several different programs including management, sales and customer service. Her role at Ferrellgas is Instructional Designer. She looks forward to helping ASTD meet the needs of its members here in Kansas City and nationally.

Bob Dinkins
Bob Dinkins is the President of Human Dynamics, a company specializing in training and performance support. Last year he went to work on a full-time basis with one of his clients, MutualAid eXchange (MAX). MAX is a Faith-based Insurance Company specializing in property and casualty coverage. Bob’s role with MAX is very much like his role with Human Dynamics; marketing, training development, and performance support. An expert in many different software programs, Bob’s talents cover graphic design, publishing, presentation, animation, multimedia development and general advertising.
Bob’s love of art, cars, woodworking, and computers guides his many interests. An entrepreneur at heart, Bob has owned and managed many businesses.
Bob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Commercial Art from the University of Central Missouri. He has served ASTD as the Director of Membership.

Ana-Elena Jensen, Ph.D.
Ana-Elena Jensen, currently a Practice Enhancement Facilitator for TransforMed, has more than 18 years experience as an organizational development consultant. Her areas of focus include leadership, organizational design, strategic planning, performance management, quality processes, culture and change management. She has consulted with Fortune 500 and 100, and small and mid-sized organizations in the profit and not-for-profit areas. Her client list has included companies in health care, telecommunications, technology, and service industries, as well as local governments. Ana worked as an organizational development and talent management consultant for 10 years at Sprint where she led projects to improve organizational effectiveness, human resource planning and talent development. She was also responsible for enterprise wide initiatives on diversity, ethics and legal compliance, and change management planning.
In addition to her involvement at ASTD, Ana is a member of the American Psychological Society and she served on the board for the KC Hispanic Chamber of Commerce from 2000 – through 2005. She holds M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in organizational communication from the University of Kansas and a bachelor’s degree in organizational psychology and management from Georgia State University. In addition to her consulting and work, she teaches in the Masters in Human Resources and MBA Programs at Ottawa University, Kansas City.

VP of Programs & Special Events
Heidi Matthews
Heidi is the Regional Employee Development Supervisor for the Grundfos Pumps North American region and is responsible for learning opportunities available to the office and manufacturing employees. In this role she helps create the strategy to align with the regional business goals, does instructional design for face-to-face, on-line synchronous and asynchronous courses, and facilitates select courses. As part of a global company she is also a contributor to the Grundfos global training academy programs. The variety of duties in her role allow for constant learning and creativity. A degree in education from PurdueUniversity aided her career path that included retail and outside sales, telecom district management and corporate training. In addition to her current work at Grundfos, Heidi is active in her community, her children's activities and the local Kansas City Curling Club.

Sue Maden
Sue Maden is Education & Training Manager for Burns & McDonnell engineering company. She is responsible for the management and development of comprehensive education and training programs for the company. As part of a three person training team that supports 3,000+ employees, Sue leverages technology to connect, communicate, and collaborate. She is a past-president of KC-ASTD and a long-time member of the national organization, ASTD.

Sally Koppy
Sally Koppy is an accomplished professional with 20 years of experience providing professional adult training, institutional advancement, and program development. She is the Training and Development Specialist at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences (KCUMB), which is a nationally recognized leader in education, research, clinical practice, and service. She holds a BA in Organizational Management and specializes in Human Resources Management. Her expertise is in the development, delivery, and management of comprehensive education and training programs for all levels of an organization.
Prior to her current position, she supported a team in developing and launching the SwopeCenter for Career Advancement (SCCA), a career advancement services agency for low-income individuals in Kansas City. She provided institutional advancement as the Development Director for RiversAcademy in Minnesota. She also provides organizational development consulting services for start-up and growing nonprofit organizations.
Sally is also active in fund-raising for the MS Society and participates in the annual MS Walk. She loves hiking, camping, and travel.
